On the Edge: Hope for Animals and Their World
Campaign for Endangered Species and Biodiversity

At a time when many animal species are at a crossroads, around the globe, passionate individuals and groups are dedicating themselves to ensuring a hopeful future for local species threatened with extinction. Their stories are the one's that Dr. Jane tells in her most recent book, Hope for Animals and Their World.

Become the next chapter of hope for a local endangered species in your community. Join On the Edge: Hope for Animals and their World, the next Youth Campaign created for, and by the members of Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots.

What it Takes - Often we learn that when we help endangered species, we help the environment and the human community as well.
What is an Endangered Species? - Understanding what it means for a species to be endangered is important for having a successful campaign.
Success Stories - Learn about some of the amazing people who are saving species from the brink of extinction.
Adopt Your Species - Find and research an endangered species in your area.
Get Involved - Plan a project to help protect and conserve your species.
Be Their Voice - Create a Public Service Announcement about your species’, and your projects to help them.
Raise Awareness - Share your PSA and raise awareness in your community with public presentations for a chance to win one of four mini-grants to support your projects.
Give Support - Help raise critical funds to support the campaign, and protect and conserve Chimpanzee.

You can create a hopeful future for species around the globe! Get started to today, and don't forget to tell us your stories! Submit a project report as you're working on your projects, or when you're all finished.

This campaign was developed over the course of the last year by members of the seven Youth Leadership Councils. Learn more about the Councils, and consider joining today!
