Roots & Shoots Day of Peace
On September 21, Roots & Shoots members and friends will come together to celebrate Roots & Shoots Day of Peace, in support of the United Nations International Day of Peace. All over the world, young people will craft Giant Peace Dove Puppets from reused materials and fly the Doves in their communities to symbolize their commitment to peace. Plan your event and promote it to the public!

Help Dr. Jane Help Frogs
Dr. Jane has been named an ambassador for the Year of the Frog. You can help her help these hopping amphibians. Hop on it.

Regional Action
California members celebrate Dr. Jane's exhibit at the MUZEO in Anaheim with displays, workshops and a carnival. Experience the exhibit.

Roots & Shoots Book Club
Great Peacemakers: True Stories From Around the World by Ken Beller and Heather Chase tells the inspiring stories of 20 peacemakers from around the world—including Dr. Jane! Make peace.

She's At It Again
For the second year in a row, 11-year-old Amanda K. of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, sells "Lemonade for Chimp Aid" and donates her profits to JGI. Make lemonade.
