The Roots & Shoots California Youth Leadership Council and the California Regional Office are proud to announce that their 2007 regional summit will be held at the beautiful Headlands Institute in Sausalito, California. The Headlands are part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the largest urban national park in the world, with over 140,000 acres of coastal parklands.

All Roots & Shoots members and group leaders in California are invited to attend the summit on Saturday and Sunday, November 3-4. Our council members plan to pack the two days with hikes, guest speakers, workshops, brainstorming sessions and group-building activities!

• Attendees must fill out an application and email, fax or mail it to the California Roots & Shoots Regional Office by October 5.
• No more than four members of a single group and one adult chaperone per group may register. You may list additional members on a waitlist.
• All youth must be accompanied by a chaperone.
• Registration for the summit will be $45 per attendee, which includes all programming, meals and lodging. Chaperones must pay this fee as well. 

Spaces for attending the summit are on a first come, first served basis. Make sure to send us your application as early as possible!
