| | The "Peaceweavers" Roots & Shoots group in Evanston, Illinois, estimates that school districts 65 and 202, combined, use about 4,000 polystyrene trays per day. That's 80,000 per month, 960,000 per year. Given the non-biodegradable, non-recyclable properties of polystyrene, the students (grades 3-5) have good reason to be concerned. |
