More than 100 Roots & Shoots members from around New England congregated at the NonProfit Center in Boston, Mass on Saturday, November 14 to celebrate "Local Service & Global Change" during the 5th Annual Regional Summit! The day began with Regional Director Sally Sharp Lehman's presentation about the Jane Goodall Institute Africa Programs and the presentation of our 2009 Regional Awards. After being inspired by the amazing people and groups who received this year's awards, attendees went to the NonProfit Center to participate in workshops and activities, including: - China's Environmental Movement and Roots & Shoots in China
