Through JGI-Spain's fun, interactive new Roots & Shoots website, called "BioDiverCiudad," the zany safari-loving Professor Roots seeks wild adventure in the urban jungle. Check out the site to see what the professor is up to, learn about animal species in your city or sign up for a real-life "ecosafari."

JGI-Spain staff member Federico Bogdanowicz has played a major role in the new project—literally! The Roots & Shoots enthusiast plays the role of Professor Roots on the website, in online videos and on ecosafaris. Get acquainted with Professor Roots.

The website is in both Spanish and Catalan, the two languages primarily spoken in Spain. Whether you're a native Spanish-speaker or you're just learning the language, at Biodiverciudad you'll discover exploration opportunities, learn new information and probably laugh out loud at Professor Roots.
