Amanda K.
Amanda is a member of the NYLC who was invited to continue serving during college.

Amanda is a Sophomore in college studying Political Science and Urban Studies. In her free time you can find her hiking in some local trails or working at the last family owned farm in her home town! She is from Cherry Hill, New Jersey and has been on the council for four years. Amanda has been working with Roots and Shoots since she was eight years old, starting with a lemonade stand to raise money and awareness for Dr. Goodall and the chimpanzees. Her goal is to empower young people to act locally and think globally, teaching them to live sustainably with people, animals, and the environment.
