Olivia is a high school sophomore in Dexter, MI. She is passionate about equality, specifically girls and women’s rights to education, eradicating poverty, and mental health awareness. Currently, she is developing her own charitable organization called Good Spokes, that provides bicycles to people in developing countries for them to gain access to education, work, and healthcare. To date, she has raised over $2,000 to provide 14 bikes for this cause. Throughout the last three years, she has completed over 600 service hours and received a 50 and 250-hour Presidential volunteer award. During the summer, she volunteers at the Leslie Science and Nature Center camps, leading volunteers and helping kids discover nature. She loves kayaking, watercolor painting, and cuddling with her cats. This is her second year on the NYLC.
