Students love the Garden to Table Club. It is motivating students to eat a healthy breakfast prior to starting classes. I did not realize how many of my students were interested in cooking. The skills learned through cooking are supporting their scientific and measurement skills. We hope to expand the program through this mini-grant to support more students and partner with the homeless shelter at our school's corner to provide them with resources. More everyday cooking materials are needed such as a blender and paper goods. I would love to see this program expand.
