What is your wish for this project?

We are working to build a historical garden that will feature the indigenous plants and trees in our school backyard that sits on the shore of the East River including tools that help us conserve and clean the sea, sky, and land around us and share this special place with other members of our community.

How did it go?

It was a great experience in community building and we did make some huge improvements to the campus. We planned to do too much too soon so we didn't get through with our entire plan but almost! We got donations from community vendors and the civic association of both volunteers and materials.
