We hope to raise awareness and money to help support the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary operated by the CSWCT in Uganda Africa. The Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust (CSWCT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and preservation of chimpanzees and other wildlife. We have pledged to support their efforts and help make a difference!
Our Middle School Art Department purchases handmade paper beads that were made by people in Uganda Africa. The income from the beads helps the people in Uganda provide for their families. We will use the paper beads to made bracelets, necklaces, and key chains to sell to our friends, neighbors, family members, etc. Them money we raise from our jewelry sales is donated to the CSWCT to help support the Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Uganda. Through this project we are able to help make a difference for the people in Uganda and for the plight of the chimpanzees.
