What is your wish for this project?

Our wish for the Esperanza Community Garden back in 2011 was to bring the Camden community together and offer free and healthy produce to fight the food desert problem in North Camden.

How did it go?

The garden continues to benefit the community and offer free produce to local residents. It has brought many people closer together and has relieved some of the burdens from the food desert issue that continues to hurt Camden. We are constantly looking for more ways to improve the garden and are always in need of soil and supplies. We continue to look towards grants and sponsorhips that will help us make the garden even better!
