The Problem
We hope to introduce a untapped segment of our community to the possibility of international travel and culture.
Our Plan
We will raise funds to organize a community wide event aimed at a young population. The funds will help bring over a popular all-girl band from Osaka, Japan called Shonen Knife. Food vendors, artists, and other entertainers will be invited to join the event to ultimately raise money for scholarships for students who are traveling to Japan this summer with our sister city program.
