The Problem
This project seeks to empower youth to advocate for non-violence through martial arts training. My hope for this project is that it will inspire youth to create the next generation of healthy, peaceful communities.
Our Plan
This project will be enacted through a summit that will invite youth leaders from around the county to learn about non-violence as well as how martial arts can be a tool for ending violence. There will be workshops on healthy relationships and healthy communities, as well as trainings on counteracting sexual assault on college campuses. I will accomplish this through engaging youth in my project and forming partnerships with local community organizations.
