The Problem
We will be getting to know our outside world through our new outdoor classroom. We will be learning about trees, plants and how their interactions help to form a complete eco system.
Our Plan
We will be learning about this during our weekly Roots & Shoots after school enrichment time. We will be using Project Learning Tree curriculum to understand more about our environment and the human impact that we have through our everyday actions. We will learn more about what plants and trees are around us and how they help us and how we can help them. We will investigate which plants and trees we need more of to balance our local ecosystem. We will be able to identify what plants and trees we currently have and, if needed, plant additional trees and plants.
