What is your wish for this project?
To successfully plant six grams of mixed wildflower seeds in an open, community oriented area. About 20 seeds will be planted in one square foot of ground, equaling up to five immediately effected square feet of ground. Over time, the flowers are to blossom, pollinate and spread into the surrounding area, hoping to create a beautiful garden of wildflowers.
How did it go?
The seeds were successfully planted in undisturbed, wet soil. Over the course of the next 365 days, we will be able to tell if the wildflowers did their job in blooming, pollinating, and growing in regions other than that which was planted to beautify the sewer/ravine area in the neighborhood. The community map will be on the poster board presented and turned-in during AP Environmental Science class.
