The Problem

I have multiple projects and campaigns happening, everyday, year-round. I was put in touch with this wonderful group through a friend, denise Brown, who works with her urban school children. I work in rural territory with country students. It makes for fun chatter and exchange of ideas. There are squirrels, raccoons, goats, horses, alpacas, ducks, geese, dogs and cats and more. With the help of MCLA students, I rehabilitate, recover and treat wild/domestic/pets for release or adoption.

Our Plan

Rehabilitation happens year-round- 16 hours a day. We help as many as we can to be comfortable, warm, well-treated and released back into their own natural habitat, if possible,. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My College volunteers help with the adult responsibilities, while my other programs involve the Great barrington Greenagers and a group of Autistic students.
