We wish to help the homeless community in our city. Unfortunately, that is quite a lot of people, as New Orleans isn't necessarily the richest city. But we hope that this will help them somehow, and that it will make them happy.

Project will commence in November and continue into the Spring.

We will take middle school kids out on a trail and teach them about Leave No Trace learning, while picking up trash and learning to recognize where people have harmed the environment and how to fix it. We will learn about the Native Communities and how they lived with and on the land we now live on, and how they survived, and why they are no longer as prominent as they used to be.

Students will create a community map to analyze issues close to home that they may support. Students will recognize Peace Day and create posters and poems to develop a community recognizing empathy, tolerance all with a smile.

We will add flowers to places that are very plain.

The benefits of planting wildflowers and a mini garden is so that it can help sustain and attract wildlife to these flowers for pollination for example bees.

We will have a gathering to get more kids involved. Seeing that a lot of them use social media, I will post things on there. This grant can help feed the kids that do come.

Through this project, our students will make holiday-themed crafts to share with patients and local nursing homes.

Our project will help create awareness about caring for our planet and the importance of recycling and talking about our interdependence.

Elementary students will design and create cards with encouraging words for people who are residing in the local Nursing Home. The cards will lift up those who are confined to the Nursing Home, and it is my hope that will help the to know that someone was thinking about them. The cards will be delivered by some of the students
