I love writing, and so I created a website with the help of my parents, to post my writing and try to create a community that cares for the environment and wants to create a better world. Changing our thoughts, and focusing in the good things that many people are trying to do. www.thethoughttree.com

We will put on a community board game day to promote family interactions which will develop early literacy and social skills. We will also collect board games to be donated to local shelters to encourage these skills and social interaction during times of need. We will be successful if we attract at least 300 people to the community board game play event and collect over 50 board games to give to the homeless shelters.

3 weeks We need to learn about poverty in our city, learn about immigrants coming to a large city like ours, learn about social service agencies (Care For Real and Pan African Association) and national groups (American Red Cross). Once students know about this, they will make signs to ask others to donate coats to the Coat Drive, They will make signs for outdoor collection, will collect the coats and will sort them. They will help load the cars so we can take the coats. Someof the studnets will take the coats and put them in the clothing pantry at the agency.
