To complete my project I'm going to get earth worms, release them into the school garden and the solid around the garden.This will help decompose dead organisms and help improve the quality of the soil. Over time they will reproduce and continue to help improve the ecosystem.

My project will take carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen due to me planting several shrubs and flowers. I will take a section of my backyard and create a flowerbed by digging up the existing grass, dig holes, and then plant the shrubs and flowers there. I will then cover the area with soil and water it every other day.

Our project will bring the beauty of nature to students. Our school grounds outside the building is mostly asphalt. These flowers would bring some lovely color to our home away from home. Also, it will help provide oxygen.

We chose to build a birdhouse because though it is something small, it makes a huge impact on the surrounding environment. By providing birds with a cool shelter, we are inviting them to make a difference in our area. Without birds, our ecological system would be thrown off and take time to repair.

My project will give a view out to people on how they can help change and improve our environment, wildlife, and better ourselves on doing it. My view of this project is to give a clear picture to people that if we come together we can change and help the environment for the better. We as human beings can all come together and help improve and help create change.

The Air Pollution Community Map will allow users to learn about which areas accumulate the most traffic and air pollution as a result. It will also provide ideas and ways for them to lessen the amount of car traffic and gas emissions. My students will familiarize themselves with their local neighborhoods. They will map out and also survey the areas of heavy traffic in the community. Then, they will come up with ways to improve the air quality in their community.

We are a group of first and second graders living in Tel Aviv and attending an after-school English program. We are learning about Dr. Jane Goodall and were excited to find out about the roots & shoots program! After studying our neighborhood we realized that many people around us don't know how important nature is! We live in a big city and and are lucky to have beautiful parks and beaches close by, but sometimes the air is dirty, people don't always recycle, and trees and plants aren't always appreciated. We want our project to help people appreciate, love and enjoy nature! We are working on an educational campaign and are excited to begin our project!

I am proposing to initiate dialogue on promoting air pollution prevention--this project will dovetail with the soon-to-be started 'Envision Chaffee County' project. By creating a air quality stakeholders group, we will be able to contribute to the comprehensive environmental health discussion, but focus on specifics that include: a current inventory of stationary sources (asphalt batch plants, gravel pits, cement kilns, industrial air pollutants), mobile sources (including vehicle emissions), natural sources (fugitive dust, wildfires) and related air pollutants. We will enhance this inventory with meteorologic data, wind direction & temp data.

Our project will connect each member of the community together in hopes of cleaning and clearing out trash and anything that pollutes the community.
