The first part of the part has been sent to be peer reviewed by Metropolitan Community College Horticulture and University of Nebraska at Kearney Biology Department to see our rough draft using concrete to create an evaluated pond in the area. Once approved working with St Rosa to find live food fish in the area to stock the pond. We will then work on breed techniques we use in our state lab to breed tilapia to teach students at this college how we created this food network.

Our project will educate the student body on vegan/vegetarian diets by handing out free vegan samples so people can get an idea of what vegans eat and handing out vegan pamphlets and recipes to try at home or with their families. We will also be giving out vegan nutrition guides to people so those who are interested in eating less meat can have a resource of knowledge available to them.

Our group will do monthly assessments, clean-ups and educational outreach in the Wissahickon Creek and watershed.

Sprouts club members will be planting, caring for and harvesting fruits and vegetables from our garden from spring 2016- until Spring 2018. In the process, they will learn what produce is available at what time of the year and how specific edible and pollinator plants grow. They will also learn the needs of plants and how they are not isolated but are a part of a complex system that is relatively easy to maintain. FIRST-DAY of SPROUTS 2017-2018 We are now in the fall school year 2017-2018 and we have harvested several crops from the student garden beds. Wednesday, Sept 6, was the first day of our Sprouts Club. We met at Mrs. Kelly Anderson's 5th-grade classroom after school and discovered a new healthy snack: figs! The scraps from our snacks were collected and used to feed red wriggler worms in our worm tower. This way, nothing was wasted! Students, teachers, and parents harvested tomatoes, long beans, green beans and basil. They even braved the rain to do it! Another group of students created signs to label the garden beds with, thanks to a project of an Eagle Scout candidate and an assistant teacher, Mrs. Angela Gomez. A final group of students looked at an initial map of the garden beds and identified what was in the garden. This was their orientation to mapping. All students used old student notebooks whose pages were still unused. That way, we saved on trees and money! At the end of the day, we took a closer look at the produce we harvested and sketched them (and the worms) in our notebooks. It was a busy first day!

We will grow and care for the fish and the plants it in the schools front garden area. We have no fresh vegetables at school lunch so by doing this project we will be bringing fresh vegetables to school lunch.

Students will install a cactus garden on the North East corner of our school. The will prepare the land, plan the plot, and do the work. This will add to our teaching garden by adding examples of plants found in the desert biome to our campus. They did this well.
Canada
Our educational campaign will use Facebook, a social network that connects people of all ages. We will provide general and specific information about waterfowl alongside other content that will quack you up. In the long-term, we will petition to have signage changed in Ottawa, Ontario to be more informative and attention-grabbing.

We are building up a base as a university approved organization. We hope to put together a Passport event every year. Passport events are required by freshmen. We will also hold community events in order to educate the community of the necessity of being conscientious of the environment when making life decisions. We have already held a fossil dig for sharks teeth at a local creek and hope to partner with NC Zoo and other organizations on various projects.
