In our project lots of people will be able to help the stray animals by supporting our team. Our team was founded from a kid and helps everyday over 40 strays which live in the streets and need forever families! We are doing spay and neuter, feeding and animal health programs. At the same time we are educating kids in the schools on how to be responsible owners and we help them to learn that every animal needs a second chance! How to help: Did you know that on average a stray animal lives approximately only 2-3 years? By doing the following simple things you can save a stray animal: 1) You can adopt or foster a stray animal which needs you!Nothing can replace the warmth of a family! 2)You can offer medical care to an injured stray. 3)You can spay and neuter a stray in your neighborhood in order to avoid the increase of the stray animals. 4)You can put food and water bowls for the hungry and thirsty strays. 5)You should speak up for every cruel action against animals! 6)You can educate your friends to follow these simle steps! A stray animal aims to your compassion!
During the winter we will raise funds, plan plant additions to our garden, and plan seating. In the spring we will plant more plants for pollinators. We will purchase and install seating.
The Elk Rapids District Library celebrates World Chimpanzee Day with cupcakes and informational display
I will research a recipe and make cupcakes that have ingredients that do not harm chimpanzees or the environment. I will have a craft for children to take and make at home that will teach them about the chimpanzee. I will have books and information available to library patrons so they can learn how to help the chimpanzees.
The idea is to screen documentaries about animals and the environment. In order to reach more people and have a wider impact, the screenings will be free of charge for anyone who would like to attend. Ideally I would like to establish an annual screening of such films in Athens, Greece (through Jane Goodall’s R&S Greece) and call it “Environmental Film Day”.
A group of homeschool/unschool kids to be a part of weekly projects that are centered around teaching compassion through helping areas of the community in need.

I love writing, and so I created a website with the help of my parents, to post my writing and try to create a community that cares for the environment and wants to create a better world. Changing our thoughts, and focusing in the good things that many people are trying to do. www.thethoughttree.com
We will add flowers to places that are very plain.
