In order to properly clean this area we will be taking trips to the area to clean, collect trash, and help keep more wildlife from being harmed by man-made waste.

Our project will grow flowers, crops, and provide students with opportunities to design and develop new ideas. The students' designs and ideas are all discussed and implemented through their special classes such as tech ed, art, PE, Family Consumer Science, and Library Science.

We will gather a small group and visit local areas where littering is evident. For example, the trails in Steiner Ranch. We will walk through the trail and clean up trash and also plant flower seeds to help beautify the surrounding area.

We will have a school beautification day to replant our gardens. When the vegetables are ripe, we will harvest the produce. The students will eat some of the vegetables and we will sell the rest of the produce to parents so we can replenish our garden.

What our project will do is that it'll stop the food desert in Camden and help beautify this portion of it and let people of our community come over and plant what they desire. It's all free and we also take very good care of the plants.

We will have the students meet with the owner and manager to discuss what important information needs to go on the material. We will meet as a group to discuss the layout and creative design on the material and sign. The Instructor will take the rough draft and make a beautiful and professional sign on Photoshop and we will use the grant to produce them :)
