In our project lots of people will be able to help the stray animals by supporting our team.Our team was founded from a kid and helps everyday over 40 strays which live in the streets and need forever families!We are doing spay and neuter,feeding and animal health programs.At the same time we are educating kids in the schools on how to be responsible owners and we help them to learn that every animal needs a second chance! How to help: Did you know that on average a stray animal lives approximately only 2-3 years? By doing the following simple things you can save a stray animal: 1) You can adopt or foster a stray animal which needs you!Nothing can replace the warmth of a family! 2)You can offer medical care to an injured stray. 3)You can spay and neuter a stray in your neighborhood in order to avoid the increase of the stray animals. 4)You can put food and water bowls for the hungry and thirsty strays. 5)You should speak up for every cruel action against animals! 6)You can educate your friends to follow these simle steps! A stray animal aims to your compassion!

For the Athens Marathon we participate and donate to the charity to help kids and older people.
Students will research recipes for salads, healthy snacks and simple lunch ideas based on environmentally conscious practices. Greek products will be the focus. The work will be compiled in an e-book form.
We are raising money to support the Glyfada Rescue Center in Athens, Greece. It supports the Caretta Caretta turtles only through donations. Grades from 2nd - 5th are holding bake sales and are selling stickers they each draw of turtles to support the Rescue Center's cause, “Healing through Love”!
Goal # 11 (United Nations): Sustainable cities. Making schools more inclusive, accessible. Making schools more wheelchair friendly.
We will be working closely with Accessible Travel.gr which is an organization that helps people with disabilities have access to various places. We will be working with architects and civil engineers to design the ramps and infrastructure needed for students in wheelchairs to be able to have a safe environment. We will ask administration and Board of Trustees to assist us with the budget needed to make this
We will have an items drive for a local nonprofit, Family Promise. We will make posters for our school advertising the drive. We will make announcements over the intercom and present our project to classrooms during morning meeting. We will collect toiletries, baby supplies, toilet paper and more to help families. We will also make origami with words of affirmation to give to people to make them feel happy and better about themselves.
The youth will purchase socks for all the residents at our local nursing home. They will put them in gift bags for each one and deliver them as well as visit with each resident.
Our campaign will start with raising awareness - a newspaper fashion show, class recycled materials poster contest and upcycling challenge. We will use assembly times to educate students on how to recycle, work with our building manager and cleaning service to set up the recycling scheme and monitor if students are using recycling bins properly.
We will create a compost bin, we will fill garden beds with healthy soil, we will plant various seeds, and use our homemade compost to make the soil more nutrient-rich.
