This spring the children will visit Heartland Farm Sanctuary for injured farm animals. They will learn ways animals get hurt, how they are cared for, and more about the needs of all farm animals. The children will bring animal grain with them to the farm sanctuary and learn how to feed the animals, what the animals need to live, and ways they are medically treated for their injuries.

Horse Rescue & Sanctuary, 19801 Sheridan St, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332, USA As Broward County Florida's oldest and largest horse rescue & sanctuary, we know that families who play together stay together. Regular daily chores include; dump/scrub/fill water buckets and troughs, stall cleaning, bathing, grooming, braiding, feeding, mow grass, paint, maintenance and anything else that might come up. Attire is casual, jeans or shorts and a t-shirt. Please wear closed toe shoes or boots. We need volunteers when it is hot, cold and raining.
