We will first be designing and producing our own lines of pins, stickers and T-shirts; afterwards, we will be selling them during certain marches and special occasions. These merchandise will be designed by our team member and will be available in online shops and in person. All the revenues will be donated to UNHCR and TOPS(Taipei Overseas Peace Service). We hope our products and support can truly make a difference to the world.
The Elk Rapids District Library celebrates World Chimpanzee Day with cupcakes and informational display
I will research a recipe and make cupcakes that have ingredients that do not harm chimpanzees or the environment. I will have a craft for children to take and make at home that will teach them about the chimpanzee. I will have books and information available to library patrons so they can learn how to help the chimpanzees.
The idea is to screen documentaries about animals and the environment. In order to reach more people and have a wider impact, the screenings will be free of charge for anyone who would like to attend. Ideally I would like to establish an annual screening of such films in Athens, Greece (through Jane Goodall’s R&S Greece) and call it “Environmental Film Day”.
We plan to participate in the Facing Difference Challenge to build empathy, understanding, and peace in the our community, our hearts, and the world.
Freedom Middle School Get Connected Night! (An evening for the 7th-8th graders to acquaint the incoming 7th graders with FMS.
Our project is helping the people understand the true beauty of what is around them. by setting up a table and helping our incoming 7th graders build bird feeders out of the school recycling, we are helping inform educated students about the needs of the environment. We also put out a plastic jar for donations to our club to help with next year's projects. By helping with this event, we are educating students about mother nature's requirements and about how we can help. Most of all, by helping our incoming 7th graders build bird feeders is a way to let them keep a mindful memory and feed the birds of the wild.

I want to create a safe space for girls ages 10-18 to feel safe where they can express their feelings and ideas without reprimand or judgement. I want to build a more positive community and plan more volunteer opportunities as individuals and as a group. I want us all to be more open to ideas and to be more including for girls who are struggling with self esteem and friendships. Often working alongside rescue animals, reading to shelter cats and caring compassionate people,it has been proven to reduce stress, aid in depression and boost self esteem . Creating volunteer opportunities will help girls like myself realize their potential, develop skills, empowerment and become more self aware of actions, words and their impact. It is my hope to encourage female freindships, help focus on our future and introduce new ideas and more positive female role models and approaches to difficult situations with peers.
Plan, plant, and harvest from our school garden.
