This year, we are focused on teaching our community about the agriculture and it's impact in our area. Our students have started to plan a community fair so that they can invite community members and families to learn about our community and it's agricultural history and influence. We will invite some of the speakers that we have used over the years to help present this information. Our school will have this fair as a half day during school hours so that our Roots & Shoots members can teach our school community all that they've learned. We will continue it into the evening so that families and the community can attend. This will also allow us to teach our community about our outdoor classroom that our Roots & Shoots members are helping to plan and build for our school.

In the long-term, we will petition to have signage changed in Ottawa, Ontario to be more informative and attention-grabbing.

As a club, we are focusing both locally and abroad. Our school is in need of trash removal and cleaning up school grounds. We will have an official clean-up on Oct 23 with the National Honors society and the Environmental club. We are also helping to pass this message to the children of Rwanda by partnering with the charity Hope Shines and creating posters on drinking water safety. We will also be fundraising to purchase personal water filters for the children in Rwanda.
we do this through a project namely SEED(student empowerment for environmental development).it is divided into three .they are blue, green and stands for water conservation, green stands for plants and white for cleanliness. it is widely spread in many schools.I am alsio a member of SEED.In each school there will be a co-ordinator .In our school, under the coordinator we formed a club.we palnt trees,we make some awareness programmes and as SEED members we do conservation in our own ways.

We are building up a base as a university approved organization. We hope to put together a Passport event every year. Passport events are required by freshmen. We will also hold community events in order to educate the community of the necessity of being conscientious of the environment when making life decisions. We have already held a fossil dig for sharks teeth at a local creek and hope to partner with NC Zoo and other organizations on various projects.
The project target school children and young parents. We organize talks, outings and school activities to create an awareness.
