We will get reusable shopping bags from a local grocery store. We will reuse carpet padding and cut a pad to go inside the bag. We will use duck tape to close the edges. The handle will make the sit-upon easy to carry to the outdoor classroom. Students can sit upon the protected padding to learn and write outdoors.

Our project will provide a safe space for important pollinators to hibernate in. Our group will collect natural recycled materials to build the hotel and create signage that details the importance of the pollinators protected and prompts conversation about these critters.

I will go around the city and pick up trash in public places like the park, soccer fields, and other places. I will also attempt to travel and pic up trash and save animals other places, but I might not get to it.

'Mindful' is a series of watercolor illustrations -painting only the face and hair of females, however within the hair, in their mind, I am painting an endangered species scene. We are to be 'mindful' of our environment and the animal's habitat or 'mind-full' of being aware and raising awareness of how quickly species are becoming endangered because of the human impact. What can we do? We can be mindful of recycling, we can be mindful of how we treat our environment to help save and maintain animal's habitats. We will be having an opening reception at the Menifee County Library May 6th serving only foods (plant) pollinated by bees as well and juices, we will have a scavenger hunt learning facts about endangered species with a grand prize , the librarian will be displaying books for all ages that are environmentally friendly in reference to animals, plants and recycling along with the display of watercolor paintings and the essay for each painting written by students.

This will be a long term project that our team of girls, with their family and friends, will be able to work on and complete one step at a time. Our plan is to assist other local groups in creating a vegetable garden for our local food pantry to provide fresh produce for the community.

We are planning to take a trip to our local beach near Lake Erie to do a clean-up. Students are also going to design flyers to hang up in restaurants to let people know to use reusable bags and to have people say "No thanks!" to a plastic straw when served a drink. Students are currently doing research on how much money is spent on the purchase of the Styrofoam food trays in order to help with cost comparisons of alternatives to the trash accumulation by the schools on a daily basis. They are then going to present their idea to the school board and give them options of how to make this positive change that will help reduce waste in our environment. In addition to this, the students are going to start a recycling program and repurpose some of the trash into eco-benches and other useful items.

Our project will focus on STEM outdoor learning and Earth Day core goals to: • Broaden the Meaning of Environment • Promote Civic Engagement and Mobilize the Tulsa Community by working with partner organizations to provide opportunities for community to become active in the environmental movement; build relationships • Implement Environment Education Programs and engage students to solve local environmental problems; • Inspire Students to Become Environmental Leaders through awareness at an early age; strengthen the environmental community in schools; • Understand the benefits of clean water, energy conservation, recycling and sustainable healthy food • To have fun and celebrate Earth Day We have pre and post event learning objectives for the students; surveys for the vendors and volunteers and are matching the learning to the grade school curricullum. We have ovr 50 booths and interactive hands on activities to promote learning. Center stage performances are fun, educational and engaging.

Then: - undergo a review of the current situation regarding the health and wellbeing of the elephants. - create and manage a mahout program empowering the mahouts to be support the conversation message the foundation - create business plan We expect it will take one year to create the foundational program

We will apply for a booth as a non-profit at the Saturday Morning Market in downtown St. Petersburg. Our booth will feature boards made by the kids about Jane Goodall and Roots and Shoots. We will also do some fundraising for their current project...fish.
