Calling all local Roots & Shoots groups--you are invited to be part of the Fall Fox Festival! Groups are invited to set up a table with info and a fun activity about an endangered species (or favorite animal) that your group is interested in.

This special event, organized by the Save Our Species Roots & Shoots Group of Ventura, is always lots of fun, and a great outreach to hundreds of zoo visitors.  It is also a great opportunity for our local groups to work together to put on a magical day. While there, you will also have the opportunity to learn all about our endangered Channel Island Foxes! Craft-making booths, a discovery booth, and a play telling the story of the Channel Island Fox are just some of the fun things going on at this kid-organized R&S event.
