Roger Williams Park Zoo's Roots & Shoots Celebration Day

The 100 R&S members who register here will enjoy a day of free admission at the Roger Williams Park Zoo on Saturday, November 21!

The festivities will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include the following events:

10-11 a.m.: R&S Fair and project sharing demonstrations
11-11:45 a.m.: Interactive talk about animal conservation, possibly including information about RWP zoo's award-winning American burying beetle breeding program.
11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Lunch - bring your own
12:30-1:30 p.m.: Break into groups for a service project about creating enrichment for animals
1:30-2:30 p.m.: Accompany staff to various exhibits to present enrichment and observe reipient animal's reactions to enrichment
2:30-3:00 p.m.: Special Wetlands Trail tour
