| In celebration of World Water Day and in preparation for the international Roots & Shoots water campaign, R&S New England will be hosting an exciting World Water Day Celebration and Community Fair on Saturday March 21, 2009.
The Community Fair will feature over 20 regional R&S groups and local organizations presenting on water issues and R&S regional projects. Join us to learn about local and global water concerns such as: - Public Drinking Water
- Water Conservation
- Cleanliness of local and global waterways
- Marine Wildlife
The Fair will be an excellent opportunity to network with other groups, learn from amazing organizations and find new ways to get involved in upcoming events. Click here to register your R&S group to have a display about your projects at the Community Fair by March 8. The Community Fair is also open to the public, so it’s a great opportunity to teach your friends and family about water issues and Roots & Shoots!
A keynote address will be from Corporate Accountability International and they will be speaking about public drinking water issues. In addition, there will be an activity at the New England Aquarium in the afternoon! Click here to go to the online registration for more information.
