On Earth Day, April 22, youth gathered at the Boston Children¿s Museum to play and learn from Roots & Shoots volunteers about local waterways, animals and how you can help the earth even from inside your home.

The Cambridge Science Festival also kicked off on Saturday with Roots & Shoots veterans, the Sprouts of Hope, presenting their work on energy efficiency and inspired Festival attendees of all ages. The Festival continued throughout the week of April 25 - May 3 across the city of Cambridge, Mass.
