Nathan is a senior in Los Angeles, CA. He cares deeply about preserving the beauty of the environment and has been working alongside his local Audubon Center to restore the native plant population. Whether alone or in groups, he spends much of time cleaning the litter off of his streets hoping others with follow along. Nathan has also taken charge of a local soup kitchen where he feeds an average of 60 people a day, every Friday. He has also started two school clubs, one that allows students to discover their happiness in life and the other to ensure students know how to use basic woodworking tools to gain more independence. He hopes to spread these activities to his neighboring schools. This is his second year on the NYLC.
