Thomas R. Kieckhefer

I received my MS in Marine Science through Moss Landing Marine Laboratories/San Jose State University in 1992. My thesis was on the Feeding Ecology of Humpback Whales in Continental Shelf Waters near Cordell Bank, CA, 1988-1990 (http://aquaticcommons.org/2665). I have over 30 years of research/education experience in the marine mammal field. My special interests are the study of marine ecology, bioacoustics, communication, diving physiology, predator-prey relationships, and educating the public about marine mammals, their environment and their preservation.
