Sadie Romero

My name is Sadie.  I live with family in southern California where it is sunny and warm most of the year. I have 2 brothers and I am in the 8th grade. My hobbies include cooking, crafting, gardening, and golfing. My dad and I grow a small food garden every spring experimenting with new foods each year. I am a vegetarian, so I particularly enjoy creating new recipes that do not use meat. I love ALL animals, especially pigs and pugs.

I think community projects are super important to build awareness about some of the challenges that our world is experiencing and come together to find solutions.  I believe in the importance of seeing how others live and what their concerns and needs are for living a happy life. I hope to contribute to projects that educate about animal rights and address issues of mass factory farming. I would also like to support programs that help foster homeless animals until they can find forever homes. I live compassion in my life by starting with the little things and doing my best to appreciate people. I hope being a part of Roots & Shoots will allow me to grow my contributions.
