The Problem

We want to beautify an area on our school's campus that has had a negative connotation for decades into a safe and beautiful space for all students. In addition, we want to get the area certified as a Native Wildlife Habitat.

Our Plan

The first step of the project is to trim all of the trees in the trail/park area and clear out all brush. The second step of the project is to install lighting so that the trail is safe to walk at night. The third step of the project is to install a drip irrigation system for the fourth step of the project, which is to plant Califonia native plants. The fifth step of the project is to install trash receptacles in order to keep the area cleaner. The sixth step of the project is to hang owl boxes. The seventh step of the project is to install a birdbath to be a source of water for the species who will inhabit the area.
