What is your wish for this project?

Students will divert pond water which is currently going into the streets and eventually to the sea to a tree garden. The sea will benefit because we will no longer be contributing to the massive amount of fertilizer that ends up in the ocean. The trees will benefit because they will have a rich source of nitrogen delivered from our goose/duck pond.

How did it go?

I loaded the map as a pdf, because my original map is on my computer at school. The project went well. Students learned about how we were contributing to the problem of adding fertilizers to the waterways. They devised a way to re-route the water to our two tree gardens.
