Our wish is that by establishing an Eco Club students will be able to express their love of nature by gardening in 6 raised beds and sharing their knowledge and expertise with other students. Peer to peer sharing will increase effectiveness and help minimize trash on our campus. The Eco Club will work to disseminate information to the entire student body!
Our Roots & Shoots campaign will address unused space on our campus that could be used for plants in an area that is currently deficient of green spaces. It will also address the concern of lacking environmental stewardship among our students because of their lack of access to green spaces and knowledge about the environment. Our campaign will establish a Eco Club that will help to educate the student body as well as enhance school grounds by up-keeping 6 raised beds that are currently vacant.
