The Problem

We wish to create awareness for our garden to get more student interests. Using our experience through growing peas, we are branching out to grow a variety of different vegetables for our community to be added to our existing garden. We currently grow sage, rosemary, mint, other seasonal vegetables and a variety of different perennial flowers.

Our Plan

We have begun our garden seed by planting peas, garlic and onion in addition to our perennial herbs (sage and rosemary). We plan on planting, three types of squashes, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, parsley, basis, cilantro, brussel sprouts, and green beans. In the months of may and June, we plan on planting these vegetables from seeds by direct sowing them. We will need help to ensure that the plants are watered regularly throughout the summer months, when school is not in session.
