The Problem
We are creating a small garden on the school property. Plants and vegetables will include basic vegetables and plants that reflect the history of the area. For example, we have planted cotton and are working on growing indigo. We have also made natural tic-tac- toe boards using tree stumps from the recent hurricane. Our hope is that the students will use them during recess time. We have put up benches so the entire school can enjoy the garden.
