The Problem

My goal is to help bring awareness to the homeless pet population in Ashtabula County. My wish is that every citizen understands the responsibilities of pet ownership. Pet ownership is a commitment for the precious time that pet is on this Earth and it is not to be taken lightly. It is essential children grow up knowing what it means to care for a life, and control the pet population to bring down the number of homeless pets in our county.

Our Plan

Our project will educate students on the needs of homeless pets. It will educate students and the community on what happens to homeless animals and the importance of spay/neuter practices. Students will learn about the resources that go into pet ownership and what it takes for an animal shelter to properly care for the pets they are responsible for.
