Here is how the project went:

I spent one week trying to cut all plastic usage out. The only time I used plastic this week was when I changed the bag in my garbage can. Every day, I spent 30 min recording when and why I had to use plastic.

Through this project I/we learned:

I realized how difficult it is to avoid all plastic because even produce comes wrapped in it, even if they don't need a layer of protection around it (ex: bananas). This week, I avoided all products that came wrapped in plastic, but this isn't quite sustainable in the long term.

What I/we might change:

My/our favorite part of this project was:

My favorite part of this project was the accomplishment I felt when I went a day without using or even needing plastic.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

This challenge can be made more fun if you turn it into a competition between your friends or even in your family.
