The Problem
We notice that schools and other groups have food drives during the holidays. But, we think people are hungry all year long. We decided to focus on specific foods to collect and then donate to our local food bank/food pantry.
Our Plan
We decided to collect boxes of macaroni and cheese for two months. After that, we wanted soup and dry pasta for two months. Members explained the need for donations during our school's three lunch sessions. We made signs and hung them around the school. We wrote announcements to remind students to bring in donations. We delivered food as an entire group to the food pantry.
