The Problem

Elderly are increasing isolated in during these trying times of COVID-19. We want to continue to bring our music to the senior citizens, and brighten their day with some cheerful melodies.

Our Plan

We have organized, learned, and recorded 8-9 songs and combined them into one Youtube Video is already posted and can be found under the name \"Lighting Up Lives\" by the user April Zhang.

Here is how the project went:

We learned and recorded 9 songs in the span of one month! I am very proud of my and my sister's work. I hope other musicians can be inspired by our work too!

I might change the editing software that I used to combine the song clips.

My favorite part of the project was simply enjoying the music and having fun learning and overcoming challenges.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

My advice would be to take it slow, everybody learns at different paces, so if you would like to do a similar music collection recording, I would suggest going at your own pace, and most importantly enjoying what you are doing and have fun!
