The Problem

We are working on the greening of our environment most of our school campus is black top, by planting trees around our school and maintaining them we will increase oxygen, beautify our campus and inspire others. Also by creating bird feeding stations for our school gardens we will encourage birds to come back to our school. Wildlife has been increasing in our neighborhood because of people working on the Los Angeles River Project.

Our Plan

We will create charts that have been used by other Girl Scouts to monitor the growth of our trees as we maintain them. We will provide them with nutrients and weed and care for them. Moreover, We will launch a campaign to have other students also plant and care for trees around the school campus. Since the members of our troop are on three different school campuses it will have a greater impact on our community.
