The Problem

Providing a habitat for endangered bees and Monarch butterflies in our student garden planned, planted, and maintained by special education students and general education peers on campus.

Our Plan

Research native plants that reduce water use, fight draught in California. Research native plants that attract bees and Monarch butterflies which are both endangered. Prepare garden are and soil for planting. Order soil and seeds. Establish criteria to measure success (creation of a habitat for endangered bees and butterflies).
