Here is how the project went:
The cleanup went super well! We collected 10+ bags of plastic, waste, and excess leaves.
Through this project I/we learned:
We learned to take care of our school. Even though school was mostly online this year, the Coyote Trail was still full of trash, and it was disheartening to see the neglect that some of our peers still have for the Trail.
What I/we might change:
If we did this project again, we might advertise it to more people to get an even bigger turnout.
My/our favorite part of this project was:
Our favorite part of the project was seeing the transformation of the Trial. By the time that day was over, there was much less trash and the Trail looked great.
Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:
One tip for anyone planning a trash cleanup is to bring extra trash bags! We didn't bring enough bags, so we weren't able to pick up as much as we could have.
