The Nature Project is a non-profit focused on providing under served youth with the opportunity to experience nature. A collective of like-minded athletes, environmentalists and philanthropists have teamed up to create a fund that facilitates these potentially life-changing experiences for youths from across the county.

Starting on Earth Day, April 22nd, our project will educate school-age children on the issues enveloped in climate change, and what they can do to help. We'll accomplish this by providing lunch time activities that teach about the issues and advocate for change.

We will meet at a local park (location TBD) and collect trash in bags to be removed. Basic safety guidelines will be discussed (as in items not to touch like syringes, broken glass and "personal" items). I'll provide a variety of bag sizes from contractor bags to plastic grocery bags for the littles, as well as kid-sized and adult-sized gloves.
Canada
We will also be participating in Earth hour in our classroom and home as well as water bottle free day to reduce our carbon footprint. We will also help clean up our neighbourhood and school yard.
