We hope to put back trail signs and tree labels that were destroyed. We want to raise money to buy wood chips for one part of the trail. We also want to add one owl house, one bat house and three or four bird houses.

We are arranging with our school and U-DOT to host our first semi-annual road clean up day. Once we get approval we will start advertising for it and offering incentive such as attendance loss makeup for helping with our effort.

We have already obtained permission from one of the park in Denver! Early next spring our TEP students will be helping the city and park maintenance crew add milkweed and other native plants and flowers to the garden areas around the park. Our students and other community members will monitor the populations of Monarchs at all stages throughout their migration and feeding season. We will also look at getting estimated counts of bees we see within the gardens. We hope this garden will become a pollinator hot spot and add to the beauty of the gardens as well.

Our project focuses on taking a pre-existing, currently unusable, baseball field and either rebuild it as a usable field, or create a better outdoor gathering space (maybe a garden, or picnic area, playground, meditation space, etc).
United States
The project will focus on areas that need beautification. We will work on "filling in the gaps" on those areas that need attention. Planting trees and plants will create enjoyment, clean the air, and restore habitats for wildlife. The team will continue to monitor with our student advocates so a healthy environment can be maintained.

We are reaching out to local people and those overseas to donate trees and plants and then we will plant them in our new garden! Volunteers from all over the world have already pledged to help and we will be welcoming the local communities to help plant them too!

We will garner support and people to come out one day after finals to clean the beach.

We will get gloves, trash-bags and a group of people and then will pick-up the park and when it is fully clean we will put trash in the the trash. We will take recyclables to the recycle center and any money we get we will take to Adopt-and-Shop animal shelter.

We will begin really implementing our ideas after some district work has been done this summer 2016, and in the fall students, parents, and staff will be involved in making permanent enhancements.
