In partnership with alternative transport groups (such as bike sharing companies, the Metro, etc.), my students will conduct outreach efforts to spread awareness on the personal and environmental benefits of using renewable energy for transport. I will do this project in two phases. During the first phase, students will build a solar-powered device to explore the benefits and challenges of renewable energy. During the second phase, students will advocate for renewable energy in their community by creating flyers and posters, sharing their learning with community partners, and hosting public presentations.

My project will bring plants back from the brink of extinction. I will do it by recruiting other people to help in the process and I'll find a greenhouse that someone will let us use.

It will take two months. (1) Students will discuss, conduct research about, and view related videos on bottled water. (2) In chemistry labs, students will test water samples from school fountains, bottled water, and tap water from respective homes for water quality and taste. (3) The findings (data) will be used to collectively determine the action plan to carry on by the stewards.

Project Exchange is a youth-led, 503c3 nonprofit organization increasing access to cross-cultural experiences for high school & college students around the globe. Our 10-week Digital Exchange Program (DEP) simulates the authentic study abroad experience — through technology, we provide a platform to investigate culture, global citizenship, and change. Not only do we provide 1:1 cross-cultural learning opportunities through the DEP, Project Exchange serves as a platform to invite young changemakers around the globe to engage in cross-cultural conversations about today’s critical issues through our blog, newsletters, social media, and upcoming podcasts & educational live-streams.
